Mu tag Review

As growing older, you may notice you or your parent tend to forget big and small things. The forgetfulness or memory slips is quite common in elderly, and is usually brings no harm nor relating to Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Which is part of aging (mild cognitive impairment) and usually involved in many factors such as hereditary genes pass down from family. However, if the signs persisted and getting serious over time, you should talk to your personal doctor asap. Although it is not treatable, but can be improved significantly over-time.

Otherwise, more frequently, you may just need to practice your discipline and habit so that you don’t forget your personal essential again like wallet, cell phone, keys, etc. Prevention is better than cure, there’s something you can’t afford to lose, therefore you may need to put up a calendar notification in your smartphone or a written note to remind you about the event.

Here is a helpful reminder gadget of 2017.

Mu tag: World’s smallest loss prevention device

Mu Tag is a small rechargeable chip that can be attached to any of your important belongings and get ahead in case of losing it. Along with the mobile app, this electronic chip gives you an instant notification when you’re too far away from your item (customisable range distance), such as wallet, smart devices, key, luggage, laptop, etc. The cool part, unlike other trackers, Mu Tag doesn’t require bluetooth pairing, which is a pain in the ass if out of range and save your battery power. Also, each full battery lasts for about 3 months and can be recharge (and replaceable) via Mu hub (multiple tags) or USB charger.

Features

Designed for daily and travel use, Mu Tag is possibly the smallest (70% smaller) tracker out in the market and can easily attach to your belongings. This smart electronic tag remembers your safe location such as your house and displays a current location like immediate, nearby, far away or lost. In case of your even forget when was the last time using the tagged item, Mu Tag will also show you the last seen date and time. If your tagged item has gone too far away, you can also track it and show the current location in the map.

One big advantage over many others trackers such as TrackR and Tile, is that:

  • Small – 70% smaller to fit in even the smallest pocket in your wallet.
  • No bluetooth pairing — save battery power
  • Rechargeable and replaceable battery — No common battery life issues in other trackers.
  • Works even with application closed (iBeacon technology)— intuitive and smart.
  • No false notification — accurate with no unnecessary notifications.

Each purchase tag has its own code for unique tracking, therefore no Bluetooth pairing nor setup needed. Simply give all your tags a different name for better organising different item, tuck them in respectively, and your invisible loss prevention method is up and running. Mu Tag uses Bluetooth 4.0 to send back the detail to your phone, since Bluetooth has a maximum range of about 230 – 250 ft (74% of a football field), the device operates under this limit.

Depends on the package of your choice, you can get an add-on for charging, such as Mu hub or USB charger. Since more likely you will have more than 1 important item to track on, we suggest you get a Mu hub (20 000 mAh) for faster and convenient charging. Also, Mu hub doubles as a power bank that can charge up your phone. Each full charge takes about 30 mins, and can simultaneously charge up to 4 Mu Tags at a time. Mu Tag is available in multiple color to fit your style, including blue, red, orange, black and white. It compatibles with iPhone 4S and Android 4.4 and later.

Mu Tag don’t bother you unnecessarily, it knows if you’re in your house (or safe zone) that you frequently in. But will let you know if you’ve lost your item!
